How to Repair Your Conscience                                “Our Guilt Trip”

1 John 3:19-20, This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in His presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything.

Romans 9:1, “I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit.”

1. Guilt Diagnosis Question #1: _____________ are you feeling guilty? Are you really ________________________________?

2. Guilt Diagnosis Question #2: Is what you did wrong or sinful according to _______________________________________?

2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

3. Guilt Diagnosis Question #3: Is what you did wrong or sinful according to ______________________________ for your life?

Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Some Examples:

1) Were you were abused as a child?  Question #1 — ________ are you feeling guilty? Are you _______________________.
