Sharing with Jesus                                        “The Last Laugh”

1. If we were created in the image of God and part of that uniqueness is the ___________________________, what does that say about our Heavenly Father?

2. God must have a ____________________________.

Some Examples:

Luke 7:31-34,  Jesus went on to say, “To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: “‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.’ For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’

Matthew 21 31, “Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.

See Mark 7:14-19 & Luke 13:31-32

Luke 6:39, He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?

See Mark 10:23-25; Matthew 16:18; Mark 1:16-17;        John 41-18; and, Matthew 12:22-27

Mark 7:24-30, 24Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret. 25 In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet. 26 The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter. “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

3. Understanding the humor of Jesus will help us to see the fuller picture of Jesus as a Person and to interpret His words more ___________________________________.
