Our Children

“Temptations We Face”

Proverbs 20:11, “Even small children are known by their actions, so is their conduct really pure and upright?”

Proverbs 22:6, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

2 Corinthians 2:11, “In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.”

Three Common Temptations That Children Face:
1. __________________________________________.

Philippians 2:3,  ”Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”

2. __________________________________________.

Ephesians 4:25, “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”

Psalm 51:5, “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”

Proverbs 12:22, “The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy.
3. __________________________________________.

Ephesians 6:1-3,4, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth…. Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
