Who or What am I Trusting to Get Me There?                     “Who’s Up For Heaven”

  1. Jesus consistently rejected the religious notion that a person could be in ____________________ with God while mistreating people God _____________________.
  2. Remember, when you sin against someone that _________    ___________, you _______________ against God.
  3. “Good” sits uncomfortable still when it comes to what’s                    ___________________________________.
  4. Big Question: What does ______________________ require of me?

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (NASV), ”Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Luke 23:33-34, “When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified Him there, along with the criminals—one on His right, the other on His left. 34 Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.’ And they divided up His clothes by casting lots.”

1 Corinthians 15:1,3-7,  “Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand…For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.”
