Accepting Christ as your Savior is the foundation of your faith. Lincoln Street Christian Church is here to teach the Bible, answer questions, and provide learning opportunities.
 
These opportunities include:

Steps to becoming a Christian
 
Believe in Christ. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved.” Acts 16:31. Read also Mark 16:16, John 3:16-19, and John 20:31.
 
Repent of your sins. “I tell you … except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3. Read also Acts 2:38 and Acts 11:18
 
Confess faith in Christ. “Whosoever shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father
which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32-33. Read also Romans 10:9-10, Matthew 16:16, and Acts 8:37
 
Be buried with Christ in Christian baptism. “Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we should walk in the newness of life.” Romans 6:4. Read also I Peter 2:19-21 and John 3:1-15.

GROW
 
Our relationship with Christ does not end when we accept Him as our Savior. That is just the beginning! It is important for us to continue to study, learn, and grow as Christians. It is also crucial that we develop healthy, supportive relationships with fellow Christians. Lincoln Street Christian Church provides these growth opportunities through:

Steps to growing in Christ
 
Study the Word. II Timothy 3:15-17.
 
Pray without ceasing. Luke 21:36, Matthew 6:9-15.
 
Keep your appointment at the Lord’s table, in the Lord’s house, each Lord’s day. Acts 2:42, I Corinthians 11:23-26, Hebrews 10:25, and Acts 20:7
SHOW
 
Jesus commands us to “love one another as I have loved you.” Thus, showing Christ’s love to others is an important part of life at Lincoln Street Christian Church. Service happens within our Church family, as well as within the community.
